Made a light bracket for over the handlebar stem :)

I wanted a way to center mount my MJ-880-L2 over the handlebar stem. Last summer I farmered it with O rings and zap straps, but this year I wanted a better setup. It should work good because it gets the light up and in front of all the cables and whatnot, which'll prevent a lot of weird shadows.

I built it from mild steel and primed the thing flat black; Stainless U bolts hold it to the handlebars and they're fastened with nyloc's. No idea on the weight, but it's not very heavy. Can't wait to try it out!

That should work fine. My old NR bar light always mounted off-center and though it was able to be aimed correctly, the lack of symmetry always bugged me. When I made my first light, one of the design factors was it had to mount over the center of the stem.

That's what drove me nuts; it never sat straight when on the bar itself and there wasn't enough room anywhere to fit it on properly, so that it pointed directly straight ahead, lol. It was just enough to be annoying!
