    Lost my battery...help please.

Last winter I was riding in the day time with my LED light on (Kaidomain Chinese i think), I crashed in the snow and lost the battery.

If I post up pics of this light which I really liked, can you tell me what replacement battery to buy so that I get the correct voltage, and current requirements?

The light with push button remote:

    The Push button (cool feature):

    The LED:

The back of the push button PCB:

For the $50 I could just buy a new light but from China they tend to take a month or more to come in the mail, so if there's an off the shelf battery I can buy that will safely run this light I'd love the help from you.

    Thanks

    Complete wild-ass guess, but I say it's a 4 x18650 4.7 Amp pack.

Thanks for the WAG, I'll look into that one. It charged with a micro usb cable and had a USB power out if that helps?

Interesting that the pack is charged by micro USB when it uses a barrel plug to connect to the head unit. They usually charge through the plug that connects to the head.
This looks a lot like yours. Full kit on AliExpress for less than $40:Lost my battery...help please.-mountain-bike-headlight-4000lm-2-x-cree-xm-l-u2-led-cycling-front-bicycle-light-.jpg

Or, there's this (also on AliExpress):

Looks very similar except mine didn't have any external cables to the battery pack. It was black top and bottom with bright yellow sides. I found the link to the Kaidomain order but the link is dead. For the heck of it I ordered a

    8.4V 4400mAh Rechargeable 4 * 18650 Battery Pack for Bike Light
from them to see if I can make it work.

The battery pack that came with the light was sweet because it could be used to charge your cell phone and only required a micro USB cable to charge it. Very versatile. assuming it survived being buried in 3' of snow for about 4 months, whoever found it is probably enjoying it.
