    Lithium Imide

    Thought this was interesting ... did a search, no hits for Imide in the forums. Looks like they have 18650s and a few other packs already. Anyone actually got their hands on these?

    Basically improved Lithium battery tech, they can take higher temps and more recharge cycles, if you believe the hype.

    Certainly is interesting if it gets past the current 3-year lifespan issue.
