How to revive sealed lead-acid battery

I've got an old lead-acid style NiteRider setup that sat too long and the battery went dead. It won't take a charge. The warning are pretty clear - store fully charge, recharge every 6 months. My error. Any way to revive this battery pack?

    Thx
    Tim

a lead acid bike battery? that must weigh 10lbs!

if its really lead acid, and serviceable.. you can TRY topping off the acid, but its probably time to just get a new pack.

Fortunately, one of the few upsides of SLA is that they are absolutely dirt cheap compared to other chemistries.
