    Ghetto inner tube mount

Here is a home made torch mount I have been using for a few years. Thought I would share it on here.
Take one old inner tube and cut to the size of the torch.

Cut a section out of the middle.

Pull the tube through the torch under the Bars then feed the torch into the tube again. Using the section you cut out to place between torch and bars for padding.

It works on the bars or a vented helmet. You can also use the section you cut out to place under the torch to prevent rub.

    Enjoy

That's a great idea. Cheap and simple. Thanks for sharing.

Can you adjust the torch on the bars left/right so it points forwards?

Yeah my bars are angled thats why it looks like its pointing left. I just put it on quick for the photo.

    Cheers

Does it move when riding? I have a problem with my current flashlight mount on fast or bumpy decents my light starts point more and more down and I have to readjust it when I am riding. If this doesn't do that it would be worth my while to try this out.

To be honest it did at the start. I then tried to use the stem to steady it. Its a quick fix type thing. I ended up using mainly the light on the lid as its solid. If you get a really tight tube it doesnt move too much if the torch is balanced on both sides. A wee bit of weight on the back cuts down on it moving.

    I now use a Magicshine.
