I have a customer that is using the Cool Polymers' product. It is supplied in pellet form that can be fed into injection molding equipment. The material can also be had in 'block' form for machining prototypes. It is quite expensive for the 'good' thermally conductive version.

From my observation of some of the machined material it appears to work quite well, though aluminium is still better. The plastic is great where you are doing volume work and injection molding complex shapes with fins and stuff makes sense versus the machining steps. Of course you can also have aluminium injection molding etc too...

    cheers,
    george.
