    Flickering on maxFlex

    Hi

    I have a MC-E in series wired up to a maxflex with a 3S Li-Ion battery. In the lowest mode the LEDs flicker. However level 2 to 5 the light is steady.
    I have let the light run for a while to lower the voltage and also connected the same battery to a 4 x XR-E and it still flickers on the lowest setting.

    Anyone know a reason for this?

    Thanks

    Just a guess....Could the maxflex be flickering in and out of regulation because the Vf of the led and battery voltage are almost the same? At the lowest setting the total Vf could be about 11 volts.

    MCE = 4x (3.1low ? ~ 3.3High ?) V = (12.4 ~ 13.2)V

    3sLipo = 3x4.2 = 12.6V
    I think bhumper is right
