Is this the dream driver for a quad XPE setup?

    I found this on cutter
    http://www.cutter.com.au/proddetail.php?prod=cut508
and have dreams of mating it with a 4 XPE setup and the 25mm quad optic of making a very bright mini helmet light.
I don't have any need for any of the B-flex programme kind of stuff as I only want on-and-off-ability so could acheive that with an inline switch if this thing works but I must admit I'm really lost on the whole electronics thing. Is it a goer?

Those are voltage regulators which maintain a constant voltage.

You really want a contant current regulator / driver. If you looking for simple look at these:

Simple wiring, do a search I'm pretty sure there's wiring diagrams in this forum or check out the spec sheet.

These are what I've been using for two years now, no problems they can be set up as on/off or w/dimmable circuits. One option comes wire with a pot to adjust the output.
