    Different leds in series?

Is there any problem with putting different types of leds in the same series? For instance, three XR-E Q5s (Vf = 3.7) and one Luxeon III red/orange (Vf = 2.95) in series off a 1A BuckPuck?

It's not about speed, it's about lack of control.

Don't think it will give you any trouble. With resistors all values in a series are additive and current flows through all in the series.
If you have series ( sorry meant parallel circuits) with different Vf then you would see more current going through the lower resistance leg.

Series is fine. Parallel is not.
