    $50 Lights

    Hey Folks,

Any advice for a rechargeable light set under $50? I like the Sigma Mirage X Dual Beam Light that Pricepoint has to offer.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I bought a set of Vista Light Code 15's at Supergo for $55 a while back. I don't know if anybody still has them but I've been using them for a year and they are a pretty nice set up. That said....I just started riding with some guys and I am getting ready for a 24 hour race so I bought a NiteRider Blowtorch. I put the Blowtorch on my bars and still us the 10 light from the Code 15 for a head lamp. The HID lights will spoil you fast....

The Sigma, something I can comment on. It's a decent light for the price but the runtime of the battery they include is only 45 minutes when using both lights. I bought a second sealed lead acid battery and stuck it in a frame bag. It's not the pretiest install but it works, I plan on seeing if I can buy a Nimh battery pack to use instead of the sealed lead acid battery.

Something to keep in mind as well is that the Pricepoint ad lists the light as being 25 watts but in reality it uses one 5 watt flood and a 10 watt spot.
