New question here. Upgrading to 8 in rotors on a 04 Coiler

I want to upgrade to 8 inch rotors on my 04 Coiler. One shop told me that I'd have problems with it on the rear wheel and to just do the front and another (the one where I purchsed the bike) said it wouldn't be a problem and I should do both. I'm a big dude, so I need as much stopping power as I can get.

Has anyone had any problems or is the first LBS full of it?

Not sure about the '04 but a 203 mm rotor fits fine on the '05 Coiler.
The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

    No Problemo

I've got 8" hayes on the front AND on the back on my '04 Medium Coiler. There is plenty of room at the back and the discs are a good inch from the chainstay.
