The www.konaworld.com website has been updated with new looks, pictures and an owners area that more or less works. Check it out!

Looking for the same thing as Warthog...

    Hey Konameister,
PLease help as I do not seem to be the only person having trouble finding frame sizing / geo charts. Ideally I would like to find the stuff for the 04's if possible. Is there some sort of archiv somewhere?

    Thanks

Do you guys sell the seats?

    Konameister,
Thanks for the info, it really helps. I am looking at a 04 Kikapu deluxe frame to replace my old Dakar. It looks like I am going to go for it but I am a little concerned about the stand over height, ideally I would like to keep it below 30 inches...still as it will be for cross country/ 24 hour events I am hoping it will not be a problem. Do you know if there is a big difference between the 04's and 05's? I was thinking of checking the sizing on a new bike if I could. (Not easy because I am currently in the Czech Rep.)

Also the Cross country seats by WTB are nice, can I get one from somewhere? If I get the frame I thought I would try to pick up a nice matching saddle.

    Cheers

Well, I don't think I have ever heard of any one complaining about standover height on a Kona, so I wouldn't be worried about that.

The 05 has an extra inch of travel compared to the 04. I know that some people thought that the 3.5 inch travel that the 04 has was too little and that the 05 is better with the new rocker arm and extra travel...

While the old website had tech info about bikes 2001 to present, the new site only has from 2004 to present. I am building up a 2001 Stinky Dee-Lux and the owners/tech manuals from then would be a help.

Yuo're welcome for the opportunity to do so. Also, thanks for the info - I'll post pics of the new ride after it gets assembled (and the fork comes in the mail)
