    Should i buy an 05' Coiler ?

I am kinda new to this forum but i figure this is the best way to get advice.I am looking to upgrade to full suspension and i really like the coiler.I do like riding trails as well as jumping , i just wanted to know if this is a good all around bike or am i going to have problems keeping up with my buddies on the trail?

It's a very good bike. I just picked mine up the other day, and rode around in the snow with it. I love it. It's definitely not a XC racing bike, but if you're in halfway decent shape, you'll be alright. It will be great for tight trail rides and jumps. Everything about it feels very sturdy to me. First thing I'm doing though, is getting a longer stem. It has a 75mm stem, I'm upgrading to 100mm. I also replaced the stock pedals with my Time ones. The ones that come on it are kinda cheesy. Everything else works as expected. They're not the top of the line, but they work.

    yes

    yes!

    for only $1600, Coiler rocks!

get it now and ride upgrades, then enjoy the flow, laughing hysterically all the way down to the bank

that whole bike costs less than either one of the two fs "all mountian" frames i've been considering (i have a 2nd mtb LX-equipped that needs to bigger frame)

Does anyone own a Coiler that really isn't into free riding at all?

I owned a 2001 Stinky, and I miss it like you wouldn't believe. I don't race at all, just wondering how it is for all around trail riding, sans the freeride aspect.

My Coiler Dee Lux will be arriving in a few days. My first full squishy in 22 years of mtbing. It will be used for trail rides but mainly as a shorter ride play bike. At least that is the plan.

Went for the Dee Lux mainly because of the upgraded shock and fork from the base level. Swapping out a few more things to fit my preferences.
