Second set of shock mount holes on Dawg?

How is the suspension affected if you mount the shock to the rear set of holes on the new Dawg frame? I think most of the Kona lineup (Kikapu, Coiler,....) has the second set but there's no mention of the usage that I can find.

Also - Why why why ain't there any geometry charts on the Kona website!?!!?

The rear hole makes the suspension more progressive, I believe - front hole is more linear (or is it the other way around?)

For geometry, I think you have to download the catalogue. It's a real PITA, for sure.

The rear is progressive, the front linear.

We're getting the geometry online for each model within the next bit. We're adding and changing a lot to our website right now, so bear with us.

    Awesome.
Thanks for the help - I'll try out the progressive setting tomorrow.

Yep, the one in the back is better if you're bottoming out a bunch.

The front one will give you a more linear feel and more supple throughout the stroke, but bottoms easier. I run both bikes with the shock mounted at the rear hole....much better for landing drops, etc.
