    kona coiler 04 travel to 6"

    Hi
    I was offered a cracken deal on a 04 kona coiler and was wondering is it possible to get 6or more inchs of travel out of the it?? and how much would it cost?

    Dangerboy CNC and BETD both make rocker arms to get to 6-7" travel. To get 7", I believe you have to run a 24" rear wheel though. The Dangerboys are around $200 shipped I believe. More than likely you'll have to get a heavier spring for the rear shock to make up for the increased leverage ratio, so figure $30-40 for that too.

    If you have a look, there was a thread about this a couple of days ago which started a mini argument! (I've got plates on mine and Joe-Kona's not a big fan!)

    Sorry I started that one off the other day, gonna invest in some plates after christmas though, sorry Joe!!!!!!!!!!!!
