Anyone have a Kona kids bike?

I've found a sweet little 24" Kona Hula that my 9 year old son (and me) just love! I just wonder if anyone else has bought this bike or one like it. My concern is that it's over $300. I don't mind that too much if it will last. I know its 100 times better than a walmart bike but I bought my wife a Trek 820 a few years ago and it was only $225. It has Altus der/shifters and I think even those are a step up from the Kona which has Shimano Tourney (i've never even heard of Tourney)

Anyhow is this a quality bike that will last a few years without constant fuss?

These bikes should be just as durable as the full-sized Konas. The tourney parts are ok, mainly just heavier than the other stuff Shizmano makes. The price premium of this bike is due to the fact that there aren't very many good 24" mountain bikes out there. Remember, this bike has a butted aluminum frame, decent fork, and aluminum control parts, so this is definately not your wallyworld special.
