    '06 Coiler Supreme

Who can tell me some definitive stuff about this bike/frame? It LOOKS like it'd be tuff enuf to handle my size (Clyde) and riding style (I wouldn't drop off a picnic table).............

A deal is dangling in front of me, and my poor old Dakar XLT is toast.

Stout frame. Naturally, at the proper speed/momentum, this bike could handle a 3-4 ft drop.

2006= some of the components could be tired/worn, but an excellent frame to build around.

I have a 2005 Coiler, and man, the dam thing is sooo well built... I love how solid it feels when I throw it around. Those bikes are built to last a lifetime.

I'm with Rudster, start thinking on a complete overhaul and you and your bike will be happy for the years to come.

Thanks; it's a frame-only I'm looking at, online dealer clearing out warranty spares. I have MOST of the parts ready to swap over already.

What website did you find the frame on? I'd be interested in a 17". Thanks!

UPDATE: snatched up the LAST 20" Coiler Supreme CBO had.

Got delayed a few days due to a bit of an illness, but got this beast put together; did a little shakedown, 8 up-and-backs in my loooonng driveway (looking for proper adjustment, glad I bought the 400mm seatpost!), and, WELL........

This frame ROCKS! More stable and solid than my XLT EVER was! Just studying the frame while I waited for the final parts to arrive, I am SO impressed with the quality of the frame! Building it up, things went together quickly and easily. Hopped it a few times in the driveway, and the action was flawless -- almost like it was saying, "that all you got?"

I'll enjoy the next weeks getting better acquainted with this frame!
