    XLT frame weight?

Hi I'm wondering if anyone has weighed their Jamis frame to see just what it weighs. I have a 19" XLT 2 from 2005, though any year should be very close. It has the Manitou Swinger air shock on it.

I'm trying to figure out how much weight I can save with a new frame

I have an '06 xlt 1.0 with a fox float r. The frame weighs 8 lbs 5 oz with the headset and bb installed. Yea really heavy i know. Ive been thinking of getting a new frame myself and hopefully just swap components.
