Making an 09/10 Komodo 1 a little lighter?

I am fine with the Komodo as is, but I was curious how to drop some weight on it and if it could get to around 26-28 pounds. I know the fork is not great, so I would upgrade that first. but have no idea what I would go for just yet. What other changes would make a difference?

HeavyHitter, how are you liking the Komodo so far? I don't have an answer for you regarding weight but what are you considering for a fork? I'm leaning towards the Tora 318. Check it out if you haven't already. It should be a vast improvement over the pogo stick RST T9.

Boost, I love it. I am not sure on forks yet. I would love something lighter and the Tora sounds good. What other options are in that price range?

    Heavy Hitter,

Tora sounds like a good option. I would suggest a Pike or used Pike if you can find one at a good price.
    You guys wanna ride bikes?
