    Help With Dakar Pivot!

I recently bought an '05 Jamis Dakar to build up as my XC bike as I have gotten a pure freeride bike and still need something for the trails.

I decided to regrease all the bearings but am having a little trouble. The pivot that is on the top rear of the toptube is giving me some trouble. I have been able to pull the bolt out of the right side but the left side just spins and spins.. I can see the pivot flexing in and out a bit but thats it. I tried giving it a little love tap with a hammer from inside with a screwdriver but nothing.. i also tried it while turning it.. whats the deal? Even to just know how the internals work? is the right side bolt a single piece or is it threaded?

Here is the frame as it was before the build was finished.

    Any ideas or info?

That can be a tricky bolt. I find you have to unscrew both sides at the same time.
