    26" Dragon team to 650b

My trusty Dragon is ready for a refresh! In looking closely, I believe that I have room to run a 650b rear as there seems to be copious room available in the rear triangle. With a fat Bontrager 2.3" rear tire, there is still over an inch gap to the chainstay and seatstay bridge.

For the front, a fork change to a non-tapered 650 fork and I'm set.

Suggestions, our comments from those that have had success with this conversion?

I'd also like to take the drivetrain to a 1x10 from 3x9. So, I need a 10sp cassette, new derailleur and front shifter. I guess I need to figure out the crsnkset piece too. Can a standard truvativ 3x crank be used with the addition of a wolf chanring?

    Here's the patient....

On 2011 Dragon Pro 19" frame there is 23 mm (less than an inch) space with 26"x2,0 Michelin Country Dry 2 tyre, that looks strange to me that you've measured more with 2,3".
By the way, is there any progress in your conversion?

Nope....I broke the frame down and sold all of the parts to out towards a new build. It was just time.

    Thanks for the response.
