    Thats not drama....thats a dent!!!

Drama would be something to the tune of.....
My bearings disentegrated after my bolt sheared, causing the rear tire (2.1) to have no clearance all of which contributed to the bike not getting it's full 5.5 inches of travel.

    As for your options.....

No way I would ride that! That is one major dent! It looks big enough that it could potentialy cause the downtube to buckle with a hard enough impact IMO. Get that front end replaced before riding it again.

Call them at the number they listed, don't wait on the PM response. Best bet for a quick turn-around is to talk to someone over the phone.

Well, nice people at Intense: they'll change me the front triangle frame
for a very cheap price. The problem is that actually I live in italy and,
you know, how big are the problems: contact the dealer, contact Intense, shipping frame...
The right way was to send my damaged frame to intense to get a crash test, but obviously
expensive for me, due to the hi shipping prices from italy to US and moreover I'd have had
to wait too time to get back my Spider!
But, GREAT, Intene Care rsolved to send me a new front frame!
    Still Be Continued....

    awaitin to buy a 5.5!!!

    How hard?

[QUOTE=alessandrosixtysix]I did it bumping into a big stoneQUOTE]

Describe your "bump" in a little more detail...I have wondered just how tough the frame tubes were. I used to have a klein, which dented when picking it up. I have an idea my Spider is a much tougher bike. True?

    I'll describe you more detailed:
I dont' know if any other frame would have been broken off, but...

To change the front frame INtense Care asked to me to send them a part of the damaged frame: I had to CUT MY FRAME!
It is such to claim to ABRAMO APOSTLE to kill his son!!!
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!
(wait to break the frame or cut it?)

Thats just thier "insurance" that you or others wont be riding that frame.
What was thier crash replacement offer/price?

Ya, I know, and I agree with them!
But, you know: How can I cut my frame?

    Is this a philosophical question?

Otherwise, just get a hacksaw and saw off the dented part of the down tube. It shouldn't take too long.

Oh, that's so cool! I think it would be neat to be standing there with a hacksaw getting ready to hack a section out of a $2000+ (USD) frame! Especially knowing it will be replaced.

Be creative and have some fun with it.

I think they are asking you to send the front triangle (with the dented part) back to them.
