    Everything happens for a reason.

When you are truely ready to ride, then the WIlson Creek trails shall be ready for you to ride them.
Nobody cares what kind of bike you ride.

I went out to the owhyees today and its pretty muddy for mountain biking. Alot of it right now is mud that packs to your tire and builds. Just passing the information along.

This last post was 1 week ago... I'm ready to go out there and ride. Any body out there this weekend? The mountains to the south sure look snowy from the highway...

Either way, might be worth a trip to find out for myself!

Most likely a mud-fest unless you ride early.

I went today but not on a mountain bike. Lower areas are either muddy, icy hard pack and just some weird conditions. Keep in mind though that 90% of the time if its raining in the Valley its not out there. Same with the snow ( most of the time). I wouldnt ride a mountain bike out there yet.

I plan on going friday so i can give an update then.

    Christmas eve day

We went out early today. The trails were firm at the start even though the thermometer read 35 when we got there. There is some tough pedaling in the shady areas. By the time we finished it was starting to get soft.

Go out early if it is cold enough....bring extra pair of legs

Anyone been out to wilson creek lately? I'm going to go find out for myself here in a bit unless I hear of bad trail conditions. I did ride swan falls area yesterday. Trails were great. The south side of the river was rather chilly due to the shade cast by the cliffs. Great new years day ride though!

Rode yestereday morning. 6 degrees, but the trails were in good shape. Some crunchy snow, but only a few places we had to push the bikes. So long as it staysbelow freezing you should be fine for a ride.

Went riding on Monday(MLK), road was good, and trail 120 was ok, trail 100, really bad, mucky, tires sink about 1 inch, didnt ride it but some one did out off the parking lot. Rode up to trail 500, about 3/4 up and down, good work out and fun down. 100 needs work.
