    Why did you post that?

There is nothing unusual about that picture.

On a semi-related note, speaking of bikers being hit by cars, can someone explain this to me. On the way home from work I usually drive on Federal Way. During 'rush hour' there is usually a lot of traffic, and often I see cyclists riding on the road in traffic. What I don't get is why ride on the road and risk getting hit by some idiot on cell phone when all of Federal way has a nice wide bike path next to it paved with the same asphalt as the road?
Can any of you that ride on the road help me understand what seems to me to be illogical behavior?

FW is part of a local road loop I do from my house.
True, the sidewalk is wide, seemingly out of traffic, etc.

The reason is that, when it comes down into the driveways it is Totally Blind.
I'd rather ride on FW and stay to the right as much as I can then chance some idiot not looking going into or coming out of the driveway

    make sense?

Yes, that does make sense. I wouldn't have thought of that, but then I have never owned a road bike. I suppose most people pulling out of someplace don't worry about looking for something coming at them from the sides until the get to the street. I'm sure I am guility of that myself, I will definately have to make it a point watch for people using the bike path.
