    Who you goin with?
If you clean the long stair step section that drops into the trail network (I'm sure you'll find it), I will be impressed!

Also, don't forget to add "more fun trail" to one of your loop rides....

    Local

I was thinking of going to Fruita this weekend but saw the forecast (and I may have to close on a a house I'm selling) so the plans may have to change... Maybe Vegas instead. Warm, cheap food, and I heard, good riding outside of town.
For Turkey Day, I'll be local but plan on doing a nice ride in the morning to earn my dinner. Anyone up for a spin in the foothills in the am?

Gonna be low key for me that long weekend...

Wednesday night: Easy run on the Greenbelt and then hit the gym to lift.
Thursday morning: Probably ride or hike somewhere.
    Thursday night: Get fat.
Friday morning: Ride at Swan Falls.

The rest of the weekend is up in the air...all dependent on the weather.

    Upset you [email protected]

Nice post, Cook. Thanks for rubbing in the fact that your single, child-less status permits a trip to Fruita - I hope you get snowed under every day!!!

Acutally, in all reality, I'm insanely jealous of you guys who are heading south to go ride over Thanksgiving. Literally green with envy. Eating my heart out and all that. My fabulous Thanksgiving plans include doing one of the Lost River turkey day rides in the morning (meet at 11 AM at the Boise Co-op on Fort if anyone is interested - there will be two road groups and one mountain group) and then watching some team beat the living snot out of the Dallas Cowpukes. The only other plans for that weekend are getting a swerve on with Big Jonny from Drunk Cyclist on Saturday night.

We're flying down Wed morning. Won't get to ride but we'll do some good hiking, and some walking on the beach.

I'll probably do a night ride Tuesday night (weather permitting), from CBack park or something. If anybody interested.

Wayndar, enjoy Gooseberry, that's going to be awesome, I hope you get to ride Green Valley Loop as well.

Flip, if you go to LV, there IS super fun singletrack out Red Rock Canyon (Blue Diamond Area/Pahrump). Lots of fast, big ring stuff, banked turns, fun sections.

    Great Thanksgiving everybody!

the troops, and probably a good long SS ride Fri or Saturday in the foothills if they're rideable, south down to Swan Falls or the Barking Spider/Snake River areas if need be.

Enjoy Fruita. I have a good friend there named Jerry, who along with Lee Bridgers and a few others, built a lot of those trails.
