What is the reason for the deranged photos in threads?

I just have to ask. What is the reasoning behind the deranged photos on threads? I am assuming the person doesn't like the thread, However this is the only area of any site that i see this at.

Is it a boise thing or what?

    LOL.

I believe they are attempts at humor and a way to pass the time for the poster.

Occasionally, I'll even post an odd photo or comment.

On an unrelated note, I am glad MT and N. Idaho folks are getting more involved in the forum.

Deranged photos or photos of deranged people? If it's the latter, I'm officially hatin' on this thread.

Who knew Twisted Crank was a movie star?

    The similarities are uncanny.

And Tim, midget, solo syncronized swimming is not deranged. Now if you mentioned politicians and how they manage our economy...

I, for one, was very disappointed to learn that "Fruita" has nothing to do with "fruit." I anticipated a veritable orgy of delightful organic citrus foodstuffs, or at the very least some crossdressers on blinglespeeds.

Nope, all I got was a six-toed lumbering Sling Blade, breakfast burritos, and some oversized huevos.

    Fruita. Pfft.
