Tips on camping/riding in Jackson Hole

    Hey-

I am heading up to the Jackson area for a week, and was wondering about the camping situation up there??? Ideally, if any good (cheap) state park campgrounds are recommended, or better, free, forest service campgrounds.???

Secondly, a good bike shop recommendation up there would be awesome as well. I'm happy to buy maps/guidebook, etc but of course would like to do so from a good shop that can give me some ride suggestions.

    Thanks for the help!

    Cheers

    Fitzgerald's in town, no question.
    Camping:
Shadow Mountain, north of town, accross from the airport (Antelope Flats Road)
Mosquito Creek (in Wilson, drive south on Fall Creek road a few Miles)
Phillips's Pass (up on Teton Pass, turn off to your right at Phillips, drive as far as your vehicle will alow)
Camping is not generally looked well upon in town, unless you are super stealth.
Bring a bomber of beer to the guys at Fitzy's (or Wilson Backcountry in Wilson), they boh can set you straight.
