    Thanksgiving in Burley

    Hey Guys,

I'll be at the In-Laws in Burley, ID for 5-6 days over the Thanksgiving break. Fingers crossed that the weather will hold, but what should I consider riding whilst there? I'll have to free time to get out and ride and don't mind driving ~1 hour to get to a decent trail.

I've been told that the stuff in Kimberly is pretty fun. Anything else I should be considering? It looks like there's some trails right in Twin Falls proper that may be fun?

What about the Cottonwood trail that shows up on Trailforks near Oakley?

    Thanks for the help.

Last I heard was that cottonwood was over grown but that info was over a year old. You may want to contact Rock Bike shop in Burley when you get here for recent info. Auger falls trails in the canyon around Twin Falls will be in the best shape. But there is more vertical (nothing major) south of Kimberly at Indian Springs.

Thanks for the heads up. I just spoke with Rock and he indicated that there's another trail right at the base of the Albion grade that "may be rideable next week". It all depends on the weather. Fingers crossed. He confirmed that the Cottonwood/Cave Canyon area was likely to be overgrown.

I too have family in Burley. Auger Falls and there's fun singletrack in the Southern Hills.
