    Thanks

I'd like to invite all of you (and I mean you AND your families) to a group ride at Bogus. Anyone not riding is welcome to hike, play frisbee, or (gasp) help prepare food. If I am not cooking, I'll lead a group ride around Moore's, the Cabin Traverse, Tempest, Face Trail, Elk Meadows, and Deer Point Trails. Food (burgers) will be provided post ride. I'll try to get a line on beer. Hopefully, others can chip in on sidedishes and alternative beverages. If you want to chip in to the cause, by all means, please do so. (Hodgee and TFloyd are strictly forbidden to help.) The proposed start time is 11am.

All I need to know is 1) who will be attending and 2) what Saturday in September works best for you. Feel free to post this info, or PM it too me. Hopefully, we can come to a consensus on the day. It would be nice to see everyone, and see everyone have fun.

    8/30 or 9/6...

other days may work too. just depends on when the Gamecocks are playing football..

9/13 is out for me...'cause the cocks will be putting a beatdown on the georgia bulldogs at 1:30 pm CBS that day...

days after that...9/20 and 9/27 could be possible too.

if you could possibly do it on a sunday instead of a saturday, that would be better for surly and i. we've missed out on the all trail maintenance days because they're on saturdays so it would be nice if we could actually make it to something!
i might be going to hell in a bucket, but at least i'm enjoying the ride

    .

This is my own gig. No afflication with SWIMBA or any group. Just me wanting to ride with folks, cook burger's for people, and BS for a bit. It is also my way of saying thanks to anyone who has volunteered. (I hope they show up!)

I'm in. Most any Saturday or Sunday (prefer Saturdays!) will probably work. We hiked Tempest last Saturday, and a couple other pieces of trails up there. It is awesome.
May your trails be narrow, crooked, lonesome and dangerous, leading to the most outrageous adventures. Paladin

Maybe they will have cat hucking at the top. Seems to be a good combo. Huck a cat, race downhill. Cat + huck + salad.

    Mmm. Salad. I like salad.

    Au contraire.

I believe TC will be flogging himself silly, and this is the weekend for my annual crotch Brazilian. I prefer lasers over wax.

Sunday, I will be braiding armpit hair for a fee at Camelsback. It's my big weekend of the year. Like the Friday after Thanksgiving, but with more hippies.

Plus, I think one of your confirmed attendees has enough cats to fill a few rodeos.

    Rodeo!!

well shucks, a personal invite! thanks visi.

i'm impressed nobody told me to go back to my quiet corner and be a good girl (good girls bore the hell outta me, i have to say. unless you're brandi swindell, in which case reading an interview is an excercise in hilarity).

i'm sorta supposed to help out my hooper friends with their booth at hyde park street fair (if any of you call me a hippy yer in for it), give em a break for lunch or *whatever*. but i'll bet i can call in a replacement up to the task if you don't mind a lazy sluffer in attendence.

i see the manstallion is logged on, what say ye honey?

can we wear costumes? i like costumes.

you would be the 50th person to remind me of this, so to clarify:

    - the shuttle for the banzai leaves at ridley's at 10am. I will be leaving boise at 9:20-ish and then leaving the nordic lodge at 10

    - the proposed start of the race is noon. we should be on the deer point trail around noon.

    - nearly everyone will be gone by the time we start eating burgers.

so....what does this mean??? there is plenty of space and the time offsets should minimize any conflicts.

Perhaps after the Bogus ride there can be some baby seal clubbing and book burning?

I will likely be at the Poopapalooza

all day. Partly on behalf of SWIMBA, partly on behalf of R2R. It's that split personality thing that's been plaguing me. Besides, I rode Deer Point last week and the combination of the altitude and the climbing made my wu-wei hurt.

So I will likely see youze guys after the ride.

    And I like cats, too.

perhaps we can make it. I thought we were going to ride eastside early and be back in time for you to work Jana's booth. I am looking foward to the street fair. 5,000 extra people packed into the north end with the smell of patchouli and ganja floating on the afternoon air.
