    SV Ride Recommendation?

I'm headed to Sun Valley for 3 days... and I am going to bring my shoes, pedals and helmet.

Would anybody have any recommendations on a good high end bike renatal shop in Sun Valley? ... a good climbing machine would be most desired!

I would also love a recommendation on 20-30 miles of single track with a good climb... and some good views. I am an experienced rider with good technical skills from Colorado... and would love to see SV at it's finest!

Much thanks... and BTW... I've skied the BC at Sun Valley... ya'll have some fantastic skiing up there! Exceeded my expectaions! That whole area is fantastic!

Much thanks... your guidance is most appreciated!

I think Sturtevants in Ketchum is renting some decent Rocky Mountain bikes that would be well suited to our riding. They also have some Scott Ransoms which would definitely be a second choice, especially on the climbs.

After the Castle Rock fire there are still alot of closed trails, so the in town stuff is kind of limited. You can ride Corral Creek out at Sun Valley, or the Pioneer Cabin trail and Johnstone Creek, Bear Gulch, Parker Gulch, etc. Your best bet right now is to head over Galena Summit and riding in the Stanley Basin. Boundary Creek, Big Casino Creek, Fisher Creek, Ants Basin and Potato Mountain to name a few. You can also stop at Galena Lodge and ride on the trails there.

On your way into town stop at Sun Summit South on Main Street in Hailey for some good maps, trail books, and awesome local knowledge.

Have a great time ripping up our trails!
