    sunday ride in the desert

It was great weather out there today, it felt like high 50s.

We ran into the wild horses and enjoyed some good singletrack.

    Nice pics and a question

Looks like a nice weekend out in Owyhee. Do you guys ride out there most weekends? I live near Elko and am looking for more rides in "the area".

We ride out there during the winter and I will stop riding out there in about a month or so based on the current weather and snow. Although I am thinking you are confusing the town of Owyhee with the Owyhee Mountains. The towns closest to where we ride are Murphy and Grandview. Both of these towns might be a long drive for you.

    Thanks Chris,

Yeah, you're right I was confusing the two. The terrain looks like here with all the sage and feral horses

    This Sunday?? (3/6)

Chris - Great shots. Makes me wish I'd had the baby sitter come earlier so I could have joined you. (Instead, I hammered out a 40 mile road ride with the "fast" Lost River group and just about blew up...that'll learn me!) Anyhoo, you planning on going back out this Sunday? If so, I'm in.
