    Sun Valley in Mid May?

I will be driving home to Alaska from Colorado in mid May. This time around instead of getting home ASAP i want to ride some spots. Will Sun Valley be rideable this time of year? Any info you can give me would be excellent.

depends on how much snow we get from here on out.

so far, i'd say riding up there that early is very possible.

snow may be moving in later this week...and march usually brings precipitation...

even if it does snow some from now until spring....the trails will probably be good to go in mid may. (just because the snow levels are so low at the present time.)

You'll want to check the following site for trail conditions the closer you get to your arrival time:
    http://www.bwbt.org/trailnews.htm

These guys are pretty good about putting up trail conditions on a regular basis.

You'll probably want to do a search in this forum for "Sun Valley" or "Ketchum" to get trail info and stuff like that.
