    Stanley Weekend

Well, I'm tired, and lazy, so here's the link to the brief story, and the couple dozen pics of our annual get-together. Geedub from Phoenix came up this year, and Alex from here, we saw K2Cruiser, but he actually got to keep his Stanley Lake campsite (long story) and was hosting the Hooters annual campout (or something like that) with a whole gaggle of folks, so our numbers were way down this year.

May your trails be narrow, crooked, lonesome and dangerous, leading to the most outrageous adventures. Paladin

    SWEET!!!

We have a group from Arizona heading up at the end of August... and your pics have inspired!

Have you ever ridden the loop around Redfish Lake?

Wow!! Awesome!! I just got back from the Ketchum, Sun Valley area. Rode Fischer Creek while there. Woo hoo!!! Sweet!!! Beautiful wild flowers in a burned out forest. The creek towards the end was great to cool off and then the last climb to the sweet single track. Then coming out of the single track you're greeted with the vast view of the Sawtooth mountains. Awesome!!

Here is what it looks like... Nice fast technical downhill in the end (fast with babyheads to make it inetersting).

    I Like It...

Is that 'Biker Babe' included as the 'Tour Guide'?

BTW - what is the 'recommended' route, clockwise or CCW?

Unfortunately, the biker babe is my own personal guide. We like the loop clockwise. It's a fun ride with an opportunity for a lake swim at about the halfway point!

Another option is to do it counter clockwise and descend the decker flat trail...

Would that make it a shuttle ride?

    Sweeeet!

We'll be there tomorrow night - after a day of Tamarack lift riding! Seems much less smokey than it's been here in McCall the past 4 days

It's been VERY smokey here - something like 17 fires burning near McCall

The most ripping trails I've done alone, so no pics there. The same will most likely be true of Tamarack. So far, I've actually spent a lot more time in the air than I expected to! Muy Bueno
