Sprockids Valet bike parking at Hyde Park Street Fair

We could use your help for the Hyde Park Street Fair – The North End Association has arranged through George's to donate a bike for raffle to benefit the Sprockids program

Please let me know your availability to help park bikes and sell raffle tickets.

The dates this year are September 15-17. The full schedule is here: http://www.northend.org/hpsf.htm

We Need Help on Saturday September 16 and Sunday September 17, 2006

Please help for 2-3 hours on:
    Saturday Noon - 8pm
    and
    Sunday Noon - 6pm

We will be set up with the SWIMBA trailer next to the Tennis courts.
We sell raffle tickets for the bike giveaway and park bikes.

    Look for the sign:
Donations for "valet bike parking" to benefit the SWIMBA/Sprockids program.

The raffle and valet parking “tips” raised $800 last year for the great Sprockids program and will be used to develop a 400 square foot building to house the new bicycle mechanics school. We are almost 1/2 way to the $8,100 goal.

Please let me know if you are availavble to work a 2-3 hour shift.

    Thank you,

    Harley Parson

I can probably help for a couple of hours on Saturday. Let me double check with the spousal unit, and I'll get back to you.

    Harley ---

I work till 2pm that Saturday at REI, so I can probably be there sometime between 3-4pm (gotta eat lunch ya' know!).

Let me know what shifts will be available.

    Nick

Oh....where the hell does one park? I've never been to the HPSF. Does the two dirt lots at Hulls Grove and Kestrel get packed?

Luck of the Irish, I have found parking at Lucky 11 or 12.
Just find a place on the street...

Don't know about the dirt lots.

try parking at the bogus shuttle lot and riding your bike down (alternatively, you may also be able to park at the Ridley's lot or at the Harrison Hollow street.....
