    Showers in Stanley, ID?

    Hi,

    Is there a rec center or anywhere else I can get a a shower in Stanley, ID?

    Good grief man! Unless you plan on tweezing your eyebrows and shaving your bum, take two gallon jugs of water a few feet off a dirt road behind a pine tree, scrub the private bits, towel off and hope the wolves don't chew on your dirty briefs then eat you for dessert. Nobody cares what you smell like in the Sawtooths, that's why they go there.

    There are pay showers on the way into Redfish Lake.

    Thanks, I found them. I think those are the showers that Wheelbender was referring to. I don't think there is a Stanley Lake Lodge.

    Coin operated, open 24 hrs. Adjacent laundry facilities. A couple miles south of Stanley on 75. The turnoff is well signed.
