    Should've ridden instead...

I was due for a long-ish run today so me and my pooch went early (830am). Did the reverse of the Thursday night ride... It was gorgeous, trails were snow covered, it was snowing lightly, and there was absolutely no one out other than a few fellow runners. The whole time I'm thinking, man, perfect riding conditions... By the time I got back, the snow was turning to sleet and 30 minutes later it was raining... Damnit, now I may have to do the roadie thing in the wet... I hate it when that happens... On the other hand, we need the rain but still...

Unfortunately it looks like we'll be getting rain again tomorrow and maybe Monday. I reckon the trails will once again be muddy next week. Oh well...guess that means running and riding on the Greenbelt. Better than nothing though! And yes we do need the rain badly.
