See you later Nick and Mahalo for the memories...

Lots of people turned up for Nick's celebration ride (I think 22 by Greg's count and not counting the baby rattlesnake) and post ride Filipino BBQ. Unfortunately, I was not able to take many pictures since I was sweep but RRB took a few. I'm sure Nick was smiling down on us since we had minimal carnage on the ride (1 mechanical and 1 physical mechanical but neither serious).
Thanks to the folks that brought over grub and drink to share at the bbq but most of all, thanks for sharing the funny Nick stories! I think we all knew a different side of Nick and it was fun to reminisce about each side...hehe...
    We'll ride again good friend...

Aw, that's cute! Great ride (I think, I wasn't really clear headed when I got back home - I ran out of water about halfway down Rocky Canyon), and really great company. Gary, it was good to ride with you. Mark, you shoulda taken that little critter home to Harrison.

    I suppose so...

But, wouldn't you know it -- no pockets. His spider is adequate creep-factor for the time being, I think...

The picture of the rattler in the crevice is why I've always been freaked by rock climbing around here...

bats and black widows. I put my foot on a hold once and could feel the tear of a black widow's web. A friend of mine was using a hold once and then felt a nibbling of a bat on her fingers....

Glad all of you had a good, safe ride.
