Second Annual 'Earn Your Turkey' Ride - Thanksgiving Morning

Join the Southwest Idaho Mountain Biking Association for its second annual 'Earn Your Turkey' ride on Thanksgiving morning. We will meet in the SE corner of the Military Reserve parking lot off of Mountain Cove Road in Boise and ride off at 10:00 AM. Just look for the SWIMBA trailer.

As usual, we will split into groups based on skill and fitness levels, and we will ride trails in the Military Reserve. This will be a social, no-drop ride, and all fitness levels will be accomodated. Helmets and hydration are required. Post ride beverages courtesy of SWIMBA.

Please note: The ride will be canceled if the trails are wet (although it sounds like they will be frozen solid). Check back here on the morning of the ride if the conditions are questionable:

We hope to see you there!

    -Bump-

I'm visiting relatives near Boise for Thanksgiving next week... any chance there's an official (or unofficial) Thanksgiving morning ride happening? I usually do the Appetite Seminar in Marin, CA... always a hoot.

Are your trails currently rideable, or is there too much snow/mud/etc.? Should I leave the bike at home and bring the skis?

    Thanks~

trails are sweet right now, forecast for snow this weekend but as long as you ride in the morning, you should be greeted with awesome trail conditions
    It's all downhill from here.
    (There's a **** of a lot of climbing left.)
