We're stopping in Boise while heading to Oregon this thursday and we're hoping to get some biking in that day. We've ridden the foothills and Red Tail trails and would like to try something new. Are these trails outside of Boise? If so, can we car camp nearby? Are the trails marked? Just trying to get a plan for the roadtrip. Thanx

Here is a map of mainly the motorized portion of the Danksins:
    http://www.idaho-ohv.org/maps/danskin.pdf

It does appear that where Steve and Daryl rode this weekend was on the north side...aka the non-motorized area of the Danskins. As you can tell by the map....there are no listed trails, but I'm sure if you are a good route finder, you can figure things out.

Do a search for "Danskins" in this forum and you'll get back a handful of threads. Between those and maybe this map as well as some topo maps or software....you may be able to figure things out.

    Good luck!

    Nick
