    Riding today?

Anyone know if 8th Street Road or Rocky Canyon Road will be rideable today? I have my running shoes ready but would like to get in one more ride before the arctic blast hits Tues-Thur.

I thought you were a westend valley type?

I perfer to hose off my bike rather than scrape to mud out of my kicks. I love to polish my bike though.

I might venture out tonight with head lamps a blazin.

Does'nt cleaning out the DW link get old?

Maybe I will wait until it freezes.
I bought a Scott Scale ht and am converting my old Fisher Paragon into a beater bike for the winter.

I got the Scott Scale 10 with the V brake option. Sticking a Reba with 85mm setting. Sold the DW link bike because my back is stronger (bad injury years ago took forever to heal) and I don't warrant the extra boing for 90% of my riding, and I found I have just as much fun but in a different way with a light hardtail. Twenty pounds vs twenty seven... And I may move to a flat part of Pennsylvania next summer so this is a preemptive purchase.

I am interested at the Scott Spark (http://www.scottusa.com/category.php?UID=645) but $3500 for a frame is a tough pill to swallow so the Titus Racer X's 4" of travel is in my sights. Maybe get it through Bob's or Brian if they can come close to Speedgoat's sales. My friend is on the list for a Spark; he's a Sport class racer moving up in the ranks quickly and feels he "needs" the Spark. Did I mention he has disposable income flowing out of his ears??
