    Redfish Lake downed trees

There was a microburst last week that hammered the Redfish Lake area. Two campgrounds are still closed as of 7/11 due to downed trees. It's likely that the ever-fun Redfish Lake loop will have a similar number of downed trees and plenty of lift-a-bike sections. I'm just sayin...

If that is not the case then return here and smack me around with a rotted Sockeye. Serious...

Nobody cares what kind of bike you ride.

The whole area was hit the night of July 3rd. There were quite a few trees knocked down in and around the area where we were camped, and on the road to the lodge. The lodge road was re-opened by mid-day on the 4th. I'd be surprised if the trail around the lake was impacted too much. There might be some blowdown, but likely no worse than any other trails in the area.

I'm surprised that the campgrounds are not reopen yet.
Each bicycle owned exponentially increases the probability that none is working correctly.
