Recommended Shops in Ketchum + possible riding partners

Ok, before I get flamed, I did do a search, and I did read through the sticky...

I am looking for advice on what shop to visit when I get into town. To get a map, and the low down on must do trails. I know I can read about trails all day long on here, but its not quite the same as having a knowledgable local lay a map down and show you some good loops and how to get to them...

So whats your favorite shop with nice people that don't mind to take a little time with a paying customer to share some local knowledge.

Oh, and last but not least. Anyone want to share some rides with us? We will be in the Ketchum area starting the 14th, then after maybe 3 or 4 days, we will probably head a bit further north.

    Thanks a bunch in advance.

    Nate

When I visited last summer, I had to rent a bike. The biggest shop with the best selection was Sturtevant's. The guy who rented the bike was friendly, knew the trails, and drew directions and routes for me on the printed map of his favorite trails. They have both young guy and old guy staff, so depending on which category you fall into, you can find somebody to relate to.

FYI, the trails I rode were best for hardtails: plenty of smooth single track, lung busting climbs, nothing very technical. If you find some good technical trails, report back because I definitely plan to return.
Old enough to know better. And old enough not to care. Best age to be.
