    Owyhee road conditions

With all the rain Im looking for something to do to get out of the house. Im considering a road trip through Owyhee country. Anyonw know what the road conditions are like these days? Can I get into Silver City or drive the main road from Jordan Valley to Triangle?

Other suggestions for something to do?

    Thanks

I tried to get to Silver City two weekends ago, but wimped out cuz I started running into snow and mud on the upper portion of Silver City Road.

As you can tell there are definately tire tracks going through there, but I didn't want to risk it that day. I did lose sight of a 4Runner that was ahead of me and I saw several other trucks go by me as I was coming back down. I *probably* coulda made it further, but I ain't that great of a dirt road mountain driver.

The Silver City Road was nice going in on the lower portion....

I'm guessing right now with all the rain (and possibly snow) that it's gonna be a wee bit sloppy up higher on the road.

There are other ways to get in, but I'm clueless as to their current conditions.

mud flat road from jordan valley to grandveiw, most of this is still muddy or snowy. The road to silver city from the other side will be even worse I imagine also. stay below 4500 and you should be ok.
