    More Moab porn

I cannot believe flip and RRB haven't posted more Moab shots.

    SFS on Amasa Back.
    RRB on Porcupine.
    Flip on Porcupine.
Flying Earthpig Air. (Beer is free!)

    Good times.

    Amasa Back
Injun Art (some of which has been unfortunately defaced by idiots)
Best Dino tracks (off of the washed out spur on Baby Steps)
    The girls on Poison Spider

Did I mention I'll be riding 7inch of plush travel rolling on 2.5s...meaning I have nearly 8inches of squish???

Don't be jealous....ride more. Lose your car keys.

Don't be too jealous. Now we're all back to work, making up for what we didn't get done last week. It was worth it though.

With the exception of Wednesday, the temperatures were generally in the 50s/60s and sunny, PERFECT riding conditions. As Flip and RRB mentioned in another post, ~1.5 hours into our ride on Sovereign, the distant dark clouds rolled in, the winds picked up dramatically, and it began to hail (oh yes, don't let me leave out the lightening). Strong winds + hail = painful, but our skin looks 10 years younger . We were all freezing cold, couldn't see, bikes covered with sandy/silty mud (which at moments was frozen to our bikes), no gears, no brakes (as Flip mentioned, we all had to replace brake pads after that ride). But, you know what? It was still fun, in hindsight.

Fantastic, you guys! Now the big question we all face after a great road trip, How are you gonna be happy with the foothills after all that??

After a Moab trip, one should be able to mach down Bob's without dabbing, and rail Trail #4 with aplomb....and know how to crap on sandstone....

    No Portal pics!!!!

And besides...any day spent on your bike any where should make you happy...

Well, we may be back to work, but some of us are cruising the board instead of getting work done...and wishing we were still in Moab.

Sweetflower's look that I like the most is the "don't you dare take a picture of me" look. This look usually involves some pouting, eye rolling, hands on the hips, and/or looking away from the camera.

    Priceless!

Is it that obvious?? Should have seen my "must not look over the edge" look coming down porcupine. I freaked out a little in a couple spots.

Lua is such a cutie pie!

Well, at least you didn't crash on Porcupine (for once). I'm still not sure how in the heck I hit a tree. I mean, acres of slickrock and I hit a tree. WTF!?!?!

    Speaking of "cutie pies...."

Ahh the memories...me hitting the section Marilyn is on at full throttle as I try to keep up with BiggerIsBetter.

Bigger - Cody had fun watching us pre-jump the rocks on Porc. It was good to ride with you on Porc, but I missed you on the Portal.
