    Montana in Late October

I'm going to be heading out to the Glacier/Whitefish/Lolo area in about 2 weeks and am wondering if it will be too late to hit the trails out there. Looking at weather.com right now, it looks like things should be perfect for the next week or so, but is it overly optimistic to hope that will hold on through the end of the month? If so, what should I think about doing instead?

    Thanks.

Maybe not overly optimistic, but who knows. It varies from year to year. For us in Helena, last October was almost all rained/snowed out, but November turned out to be good riding, even relatively high. Little wetter climate up there, but I doubt you'll get any advice better than "watch the forecast".
