No good Look what Tamarack just named their trail system

I posted this in the wrong spot originally.

    http://www.tamarackidaho.com/summer_...tain/index.php

No matter what you political beliefs are give me a break.

    George W Bush Park/Trails!

Come on, one or 2 rides there a couple years back and the jackass gets to leave a "BIG skid mark" on some great trails.

    They should really reconsider.

It's not really a problem, I just think that they could have gotten abit more creative. Given the time we are living in and all the political crap out there anything could be better what was chosen. It's just seem completely out of context.

For the record I do not want any trails named after anyone in politics. The crappy names they use for subdivisions around Boise are better than the one they chose.

I think I agree with you about trails being named after politicians, these aren't typically the folks I would hold up as model citizens, regardless of party afiliations. However I like Tamarack's trails and would still ride them if they were named after Klinton.

I saw a bumper sticker today that made me smile - it said "Science has proven - scum rises to the top."

Right on JermsJay. And I will go check my helmet for cracks, just in case I took a header so bad that I don't even remember it....

Brilliant! I wonder who the marketing genius was that came up with this one. With Bush’s approval ratings dropping into the low 20’s, it makes sense to name a trail network after him.

I do like the concept of naming the network “The Big Skid Mark.” Think of the abundance of names for individual trails. The Big Spackle, Swirly, The Brown Frown, Turd Blossom – Hey wait a minute there is a connection with Bush and his wonder boy Carl Rove. Carl Rove will always be number 2 in my book.

Carl Rove is a feg. I went to install two way mirrors at his pad in Brentwood and he came to the door wearing a dress.

Spamarack trails sound so padded and soft. Like a blush or a chablis.

Ugh, I'm calling Tamarack to complain. I guess they are going for the neo-con dollar.
    Ride the bike.

You used this same line about Butch Otter two years ago. Let's go for originality, unless I am the only one who remembers this.

By the way what are your rates on the two way mirrors?

Let's hit it up. Sorry we missed you tonight for the Barno. It was freaking baking at 5pm - like 100 out there. Felt like I was going through a sweat lodge ceremony.

Christ is pretty close to Cross now isn't it...?? You know I aint ashamed, goatboy...

Good for you dude, nor should anybody be, not in this country. I rode a quick ride on eastside but didn't have that much fun, just one of those nights where one rides like crap.
and my Avid juicy's are so friggin grabby I can't even use them. I don't have the duckets right now to shell out for a sweet set of Magura Louise's or XTR's or HOPE brakes...........

Going to talk to Jon tomorrow to see if a bleed might help more or

It's interesting that some people actually pay attention to the crap I write. I know I don't.

Then why do you write it? Some of it is funny and has a sort of connective "logic" to it; the rest makes me think you ae very Eccentric, Dirk!

Think of the cool names they could come up with for the trails now!

    Shoot friend in face
    weapons of mass destruction
    Daddy's war revenge
    Strategery
    blogosphere and the Internets
Oh sh!+ just force upgraded to cat1. Now what?
Best thing about an ultra marathon? I just get to ride my bike for X hours!

[ lower than ] 'Snake Sh!t' might be a worthy trail name there. . .
