    Kallispell for a day?

Will be in Kalispell for a few days Sept 25 through Oct 2 and would like to get some riding in. After looking at Trailforks I'm thinking about the area south west of town (Herron, Foy's Overlook, Patrick, Blacktail, etc.) but have no experience on any of them. Anybody have some recommendations, suggestions, or current trail info? Our riders skill levels range from beginner to advanced intermediate. Thanks.
    I ride, therefore I am.

Just north of Kallispell is Whitefish. The Lion mountain trails and Tally Lake area are my recommendation as an out of towner. Two good bike shops in Whitefish can provide direction and advice.
I don't know what trail we're on, but at least it's getting dark

If you don't mind a grind up a dirt road, Blacktail is about as sweet as it gets. It drops 3000' really, really.....really fast and fun. End up at Tamarack for some grub in Lakeside. Any of the Whitefish trails are great especially for a beginner
Reid Divide is a very nice ride as well that ends at Tally Lake, a nice spot to finish up at.
