Injured rider today 8th street trails

Came across a gal today who had sand plowed in the deep stuff off the 8th street trails and hurt her ankle. Hung out with her (along with a nice young lady who works at St. Al's) until the paramedics came for her. Not sure if her buddy Mark posts or reads here but I would be interested to know how things turned out. She was just getting back into riding too! Heal up soon Lauren.

i don't like those trails... too much traffic, and the ruts are awful this time of year... i make it a safety precaution to not try any common trails since the soil is so fragile

I am a bit confused with your stance here. Your profile states that your favorite type of riding is "all mountain" but yet you are concerned about your safety in regards to some ruts in the lower footies?

I would advise you to use the Green Belt if you are that concerned, but then again there are those cracks in the pavement to contend with and all of those people too.

It looks like we found the guy who keeps moving all of the rocks and dumbing down the trails.
If you can't ride, walk it! Don't move the rock or make a new line.

yeah safety is always a concern... thats why i wear pads and i don't troll on hulls gulch

you are welcome to troll where you want since the topic is actually about a girl that wrecked and i chose to lend some concern as to why such a thing would happen...

It's like masturbation. It's riding but it's not like the real thing.
Nobody cares what kind of bike you ride.
