    Howuzzit?

How was your freezin arse ride last night?

I have all my layers: thermal, jersey and insulation but think I need a layer 2, warmth. going to see what REI has for technical warmth layer, can't go wearing cotton, that would drench you in sweat and you'd freeze!

Um, let's see: last night, it was cold, dark, snow-covered, and in some spots on Hulls, icy! We had three riders, three gears, two inbreds, one monkey, one bike with those itty-bitty 26" wheels, one suspension fork, one flask of hooch, and 60 cold toes and fingers by the end of the ride. (Well, perhaps more than 60, since we all know Twisted has 6 toes on each foot.)

I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat!

    And three "turtles."

Not bad at all! Finally, the trails are quiet.

There's something magical about checking out Budda and Piggy by headlamp. They looked so perky in the cold air. And Budda has buns he can crack a walnut with (you bad boy you).
Nobody cares what kind of bike you ride.

That's where that walnut looking thing came from. I thought it was the cold. Here I thought it was the buddha belly and being off the bike that caused the back to lock up. It was frozen walnuts! Next time we go out for a night ride, we should all leave the nuts at home.
