    Cool-blue Rhythm Group Ride Boise

    Yo riders

I am looking for group rides that would not mind a new person tagging along. Well, maybe not new, most likely have ridden with/near many people here before. Looking for any day but Wednesday, already do a group ride then. On some Thursdays I ride with others, but that group has been reduced to one rider as of late. Any takers?

I am always looking to ride more often, and we do a small group ride led by CBro on Thursdays. What type of riding do you like, and what trails do you favor?

I ride just about any of the trails in the foothills, do Corralls quite a bit, usually hit the trails behind Camelsback. Should hit Hard Guy more often. I try and avoid the busier sections, such as Hulls, and try to nail about 20 miles a ride time permitting. Must admit that my technical skills need much improvement but no free riding or massive drops for me, just trail riding. The bikes I am riding are a full susser Jamis Dakar and a fully rigid Raleigh XXIX single speed. Hope that gives you an idea...

Your rides are a little tougher than the Barneys, which were set up as easy rides for beginner/intermediates to have fun. We usually have a slow group and a fast group when more folks turn up, and miraculously finish up about the same time. Last week we did Stack Rock, and it was beautiful up there (as always). Tomorrow, I'm not sure what we'll be doing. Maybe we'll do Eastside if we can get up there early enough to catch daylight.

May your trails be narrow, crooked, lonesome and dangerous, leading to the most outrageous adventures. Paladin

Yeah, I rode the Barneys memorial ride for your friend the Thursday after he died. Sorry, can't remember his name because I never met him. I was riding the dirty red Raleigh 29'er single speed and I think that I was riding with the fast group.
